Due to the tremendous growth and the critical role the Gulf region has played in the dissemination of the ICDL program, the ECDL Foundation has appointed the regional body ICDL GCC Foundation as the sole operator, in order to provide better support the region and to administer and oversee the ICDL certification program in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates.
